Restaurant Cleaning services

Question: Why should I have my kitchen exhaust system cleaned?
Answer: To insure proper air flow, to reduce fire hazard, pass health inspections and extend the life of your exhaust motor.

Question: How often should cleaning be done?
Answer: Average is every 6 months, but could need cleaning as soon as once per month, or as little as once per year. Cleaning schedule depends on the volume and type of cooking being done.

Question: How do you clean kitchen equipment?
Answer: We normally clean using chemical, scrapers and steel wool, but we can also use a pressure washer on extremely dirty exhaust fans and finish with polishing the hood (if you elect to have the hood cleaned.)

Question: How long does it normally take to clean the kitchen exhaust system?
Answer: 1 flue, hood and exhaust fan depending on the size and how dirty can take 2-3 hours.

Answer: Every exhaust system is different and the cost can only be determined by an inspection and we are happy to give you a free estimate.

Answer: Yes we do, if you already have a set of filters, we will provide the rotation set free (unless they are an off size filter.)

Answer: We do sell UL approved baffle type grease filters in either stainless steel or galvanized metal.

Answer: Depends on how many filters you have and how often they are changed, we can give you a free estimate.

Answer: We have a water recovery system that collects all the waste.

Answer: We carry liability, auto and workman's comp insurance and are licensed by the city of Santa Barbara.

Question: How do you clean the air ducts?
Answer: We remove the supply and return registers from the ducts and clean them. Next we tape off the openings to create a tight seal and remove the fan wheel from the furnace and attach a vacuum hose to the return vent. We clean each duct opening with a brush attached to extension rods, then we clean the furnace fan wheel.

Answer: Rural areas should have them cleaned every 1-3 years, city areas every 2-5 years.
